The lot features a set of hard sole and hide moccasins with original beadwork from the Apache Native American Indians dating to circa 1880. The child's set has a high top Indian tanned hide ankle wrap with Indian tanned hide tops and hard sole hide bottoms. The tops are accented by period correct glass trade seed beads including colors of red white hearts, cobalt, chalk white, greasy blue, amber, and semi-transparent. The beadwork is trade thread sewn. The set is in good condition for their age. The set has original hide ties straps. The right moccasin appears to have a taller ankle wrapping and is held together with string.
