Featured in this lot is this European fighting knife cross hilt dagger circa 1890-1910. The dagger features a wonderfully and professionally crafted iron, brass, and wooden fixed blade construction. The dagger features a cross hilt of brass with copper mounted and etched decoration and shows a wooden handle with a brass pommel in a brass and copper decorated leather sheath. The condition of this of this European Dagger is preserved with some crushing to the brass of the pommel and the blade shows a patina consistent with age but otherwise is preserved. The measurements of this dagger in its sheath is 12 1/8" x 2 1/8" x x 3/4" and the blade length is 7 1/4". The collective weight of this dagger is 6oz.
