The lot features a set of hide beaded and tacked arm cuffs from the Blackfeet Indians of Northwestern Montana dating to circa 1950-1960's. The set is comprised of Indian tanned hide with trade clothe muslin inside lining having Buffalo hide ties with cotton thread sewn glass trade seed bead geometric beadwork with large concho / concha tacks. THe beadwork shwos a nice blue, white, corn yellow, red, brown, black, maroon and light green. Some beadwork is missing and the inside lining has some seperation, but overall the set is in fair to good condition and displays well. Each cuff measures 7.25" by 6.25" without the fringes when closed.
