The lot features a beaded Indian tanned hide tomahawk or dance club drop from the Plains Indians dating to mid-1900's. The hide is Indian tanned likley a Buffalo Bison or Cowhide as it is thicker and appears to be sewn with a sinew like material. The drop shows glass trade seed bead beadwork in a Plains pattern. The beadwork shows a white base with blue border and pattern in semi-transparent green, amber and rose. Some stray sinew like strands. The top has an Indian tanned hide tie. Provenance: From a private collection in the greater Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. Measures overall 13"L with the top tie being 12"L in addition.
