Featured in this lot is this sterling silver turquoise and red branch coral watch band from Navajo artist Bobby Cleveland circa 1950's. The watch band features a wonderfully and professionally crafted sterling silver construction with a professionally tooled decoration of floral designs with a twisted rope border and a scalloped area that holds a Speidal Quartz watch. The shoulders are decorated with two Red Mountain turquoise cabochon with heavy spider webbing adorning both stones. The flowers show four round cut red branch coral cabochon set into the center of the flowers and they show a deep red coloration and good luster. There is a 'BC' hallmark on the underside of this watch band that coincides with Navajo artist Bobby Cleveland. Bobby Cleveland comes from a family of well-known Navajo silversmith artists and has extensive catalog of jewelry across auction platforms. The condition of this watch band is good with a heavy patina adorning the bracelet denoting some age but otherwise in good overall condition. The measurements of this watch band are 2 1/4" x 3" x 2 1/8" and a circumference of 5 1/2". The collective weight of this watch band is 129.1g. Outstanding high grade spiderweb turquoise.
