Featured in this lot is this bronze sculpture by C.M. Russell called "Stagecoach." This truly is a beautiful bronze sculpture depicting the stagecoach driver and his team of horses pulling a stagecoach down the steep embankment. Exquisite details show the strength and stamina of the team of horses, while the driver's face aptly shows his level of concentration. Charles Marion Russell, also known as C. M. Russell, Charlie Russell, and "Kid" Russell, was an American artist of the American Old West. He created more than 2,000 paintings of cowboys, Native Americans, and landscapes set in the western United States and in Alberta, Canada, in addition to bronze sculptures. The condition of this bronze is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall condition. The measurements of this bronze are 16" x 45 1/2" x 17".
