For your consideration is this Charles M. Russell framed print titled, "Mandan Buffalo Hunt". Charles Marion Russell, also known as C. M. Russell, Charlie Russell, and "Kid" Russell, was an American artist of the American Old West. He created more than 2,000 paintings of cowboys, Native Americans, and landscapes set in the western United States and in Alberta, Canada, in addition to bronze sculptures. The print depicts a group of Native American men circling a herd of buffalo on horseback. The Native Americans are holding bows and spears, ready to strike at the right moment. In the near distance is a billow of dust caused by the stampeding of the buffalo. The print is marked in the bottom right reading, "CM Russell" with his iconic buffalo skull image beneath that. In the white border on the right side of the print it features the title, "Mandan Buffalo Hunt". The piece is set in a wood frame with a hard plastic cover. The print and frame are in good condition overall with no signs of obvious damage. The piece measures 11 1/2" L x 15 1/2" W.
