Featured in this lot we have a Goodridge-call lumber co. C M Russell painting calendar from 1910. Charles Marion Russell, born March 19th, 1864 in St. Louis Missouri and died on October 24, 1926 in Great Falls Montana. Russell is known for his paintings of cowboys, Indians, and western landscapes, as well as crafting bronze sculptures. This piece shows the C M Russell painting "A Disputed Trail" showing a cowboy working the action on his rifle while riding a horse accompanied by a pack horse as a grizzly bear postures at the side of the trail. The print is signed in the bottom left hand corner. The print is framed with a off white border featuring dark gold lettering reading "Goodridge- Call Lumber Co. Retail Lumber" with a calendar below the painting With the cover reading "Calendar 1910" across the front. The piece is in good condition overall with some wear along the edges. The piece overall measures 21" tall by 15" wide.
