Included in this lot we have a Goodridge-Call Lumber Co. C. M. Russell painting calendar from 1912. Charles Marion Russell, born March 19th, 1864 in St. Louis Missouri and died on October 24, 1926 in Great Falls Montana. Russell is known for his paintings of cowboys, Indians, and western landscapes, as well as crafting bronze sculptures. This piece shows the C. M. Russell painting titled "Close Quarters" depicting a a cowboy firing his rifle one handed as his leg is being grabbed by a grizzly bear with what looks like a injured cub behind the bear. The print is framed in a dark green border with black lettering reading "Goodridge - Call Lumber Co. Retail Lumber" with a calendar below the painting showing the January Calendar, the top reading "1912 January 1912". The piece is in good condition overall with the calendar is missing its front cover. It measures 17 1/4" tall by 14" wide.
