The bag is comprised of Indian tanned hide and is sinew sewn along with being adorned with porcupine quill quillwork, classic geometric Arapaho beadwork as well as fancy quilled fringes and the tail drop showing beadwork, quillwork and rolled tin jingle dangle cones with drops of horse tail hair dyed yellow. The bag shows beautiful beadwork with all period correct 19th century seed beads in colors of greasy yellow, greasy green, red white heart, chalk white, cobalt, and blue. The beadwork extends across the opening, down both the sides with a wide vertical strip and covering the bottom of both sides of the body. The hide is mostly supple with some stiffness and some slight loss at the opening as shown.
