Featured in this lot is this pair of lamp globes from the Aztec house on Fremont St. Tombstone, A.T. circa 1880's; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. The globes feature a wonderfully and professionally crafted red colored glass with an Art Deco design. The lamp globes comes complete with an original museum tag that reads as follows: Lamp Globes from the Aztec House a Men's boarding house in the 1880's on Fremont St. The Aztec House in the heyday of Tombstone was a high-end boarding house for the high rollers making their way into town. It was a place with a mostly male clientele who would entertain prostitutes in their rooms (or vice-versa). The Aztec now houses an antique store specializing in period items from the town's glory days. A collection of comparable items from the Aztec House was listed by notable Auction House Holabird Western Americana in 2025 for $6000.00. The condition of this pair of lamp globes is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows a good overall condition. The measurements of this pair of lamp globes is 6 1/4" x 4 5/8" x 4". The collective weight of this pair of globes is 2lb. TT133
