Featured in this lot is this Tombstone, Arizona loan receipt From Lyttleton Price circa 1883; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. The check features a receipt for a loan using a watch and chain for collateral. This check is signed by Lyttleton Price a renown citizen and lawyer of Tombstone during the O.K. Corral aftermath hearings. The prosecution was led by Republican District Attorney Lyttleton Price, assisted by John M. Murphy, James Robinson, and Ben Goodrich. They were joined by William McLaury, Frank and Tom's older brother, he also being an able attorney, who played a key role on the prosecutor's team. The condition of this Tombstone loan receipt is well preserved with some tears and browning to the receipt consistent with its age and shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this Tombstone loan receipt is 3" x 8 1/8". TTD357 or TTD35
