For your consideration is this rare, Yellowstone Kentucky Straight Bourbon advertisement mirror from the 1890s-1900s. Yellowstone Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey was established in 1872. It was created by J.B. Dant to honor the opening of Yellowstone National Park, the first national park in the United States. The mirror has a thin cardboard backing and the front reads, "Yellowstone 100 Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon The Greatest American Whiskey" on the top, while the bottom reads, "Taylor & Williams Distilleries, Incorporated / Yellowstone Gardens / Louisville ••• Kentucky". The lettering is set on red and white strips of paint, while the center of the circular piece is the mirrored section. The piece shows wear from its age and use over the years with discoloration present and the thin cardboard backing peeling off. No major signs of damage is noted. The mirror measures 9 1/2" L x 9 1/2" W and weighs 8 ounces.
