Featured bin this lot is this Samuel T. Tamler military parade grounds circa 1893. The two photographs show two inspections of a military infantry platoon, with ceremonial feel to the decorum and includes hand written notes attributing the photographs to Samuel T. Tamler and dating them from 1893. The condition of this pair of photographs is well preserved with some creases but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of these photographs is 5" x 6 7/8". The collective weight of these photographs is U4oz. Provenance: From the John Kleinschmidt collection which was on loan to the C.M. Russell Museum from 1987 to 1993 and included in the "The Cowboy West: 100 Years of Photography 1992-1993 exhibit.
