Featured in this lot is this collection of early 1900s wrought iron branding irons. These irons originate from Montana and Wyoming and each show a different brand. They are hand forged pieces of Montana and Wyoming western history, and appear to be in great display and working condition. The first in this collection shows an "A" brand and a T shaped handle. It shows a patina and slight rusting spots from its age. The branding iron measures 47" L x 4 1/4" W. The second in this collection shows a crescent shape and loop handle. The iron shows a light patina and slight rusting throughout. It measures 51" L x 4 1/2" W. The third branding iron in this collection shows an "N" brand and and a T handle set through a small loop. The branding iron measures 47" L x 4 1/4" W. The fourth in this collection shows a "U" or horseshoe shaped brand with a large loop handle. This branding iron shows a light patina and slight rusting in some spots throughout. It measures 51" L x 3" W. The fifth branding iron in this collection shows a small "X" shaped brand with a large loop handle. The brand shows a nice patina throughout. It measures 43 1/2" L x 3 1/4" W. The final brand in this collection shows a large triangle shaped brand with a small loop handle. The branding iron shows a nice patina throughout and measures 47 1/2" L x 4 3/4" W. Overall all the branding irons show good, working condition.
