Featured in this lot is this Montana wicker and brass latch creel circa 1910 to 1920's. The creel features a wonderfully and professionally crafted wicker and leather wrapped construction that shows a custom made brass latch on the front of the creel denoting that this creel was made with a specific person in mind and shows just a single slot in the lid with two straps on the front to attach a sleeping system of rods themselves. The condition of this Montana creel is well preservd with some slight wear tot he leather wrapping the lid and the wicker woven structure shows some patina but otherwise shows a well preserved condition.
