The lot features three beaded utensils from the Crow Apsaalooke of Montana dating to circa 1930-1950's. The set shows two with Indian tanned hide wrappings and one with red stroud trade clothe wrappings all done in early glass trade seed beadwork in a banded design. Te beads show colors of white, Cheyenne pink, greasy blue white heart, greasy yellow, green, cobalt, semi-transparent light blue and more. The utensils include a 19th-century silver plated butter knife, an early 1900's silver plated spoon and a circa 1920-1940's EKCO fork with wooden handle. The set is well kept and was collected from a Crow family in Montana. Provenance: From a private ex-museum collection in Eastern Montana. Knife is 9 3/8-inches long, spoon is 6-inches long and the fork is 7 7/8-inches long.
