Rodeos in Montana, including the Miles City Roundup, often featured Native American cowboys from local tribes like the Crow, Blackfeet, and Sioux. While records of specific Native American participants in 1930 may not be readily available, their presence was notable in these events. Native American rodeo contestants were often celebrated for their exceptional horsemanship and roping skills. Despite this, the rodeo continued to be a popular event, offering a sense of excitement and escape for both the competitors and the audience.
