This is an extremely scarce circa 1938 to 1940 Daisy Plymouth, Michigan Model 104 Double Barrel side by side break open shotgun BB gun from an ex-Museum collection in fine collector condition. This is one of the most highly sought after and rare Daisy and shows a double barrel side by side shotgun pattern with blue-finished metal break over action, double trigger and original wood furniture along with factory like engraving. The gun is in good working order and shows very good overall condition. Marked on the bottom of the receiver in front of the trigger, “Daisy No. 104 Patents - 1825190 - 1899702 - 1589975 - 1793625 - Others Pending - Daisy MFG, Co. Plymouth, Mich. U.S.A.” Daisy Model 104 double barrel repeater BB gun, side by side barrels, wood stock and forearm, scroll work with dogs and birds, has both internal barrel slide in magazines. The gun has a lever which releases the break open action, which also pumps are sets the action, appears to function well. The BB Gun comes complete with an original museum tag that reads as follows: DAISY double-barreled BB Shotgun Model 104 Plymouth, Mich. - Made only 1940 - '41. The condition of this Daisy Model 104 BB gun is well preserved with some wear and scratches to the wooden furniture with the finish showing a well preserved stature, but otherwise it shows a well preserved working condition. The measurements of this side by side BB gun are 37 3/4" x 5 3/4" x 2". The collective weight of this BB gun is 4lb 12oz.. This same BB gun sold in 2021 by Kraft Auction Service for $8400.00 (w/ Buyers Premium).*
