Featured in this lot is this custom Guatemalan ox yoke ceiling light circa 1973. Provenance: Collector acquired the Ox yoke from a farmer in Guatemala for $35 in 1973 and contracted the custom light fixture from Guatemalan bottles, being shaped and blown into the piece we see here. The light fixture features a wonderfully and professionally crafted Guatemalan ox yoke, metal, and shaped and blown Guatemalan glass construction. This is a ceiling light with two mounts that support the yoke which supports the lamps. The condition of this Guatemalan custom overhead light is in well preserved condition with some patina adorning the fixtures themselves but otherwise shows a well preserved overall condition.
