Featured in this lot is this pair of canvasback decoys by Patrick Vincenti circa 1980's. The decoys feature a wonderfully and professionally crafted wooden with life like painted design. Patrick Vincenti is a carver out of Havre de Grace, Maryland. Vincenti's decoys are hand crafted in the Chesapeake Bay style. He became a full time decoy maker in 1986. His work has been displayed at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C. and their decoys have been purchased and sold at many Ducks Unlimited functions across the United States. This pair of Canvasback decoys is a wonderful display of the craftsmanship by Vincenti. The condition of this pair of duck decoys is well preserved with only slight wear to the paint job on both but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of these decoys is 6 1/2" x 15 7/8" x 6" and 6 3/4" x 15 7/8" x 6". The collective weight of this pair of decoys is 3lb 10oz.
