Featured in this lot is this pintail decoy pair by Patrick Vencenti circa 1980's. The decoys features a wonderfully and professionally crafted wooden and life like design and shows lead weights on the bottom of the decoys. Patrick Vincenti is a carver out of Havre de Grace, Maryland. Vincenti's decoys are hand crafted in the Chesapeake Bay style. He became a full time decoy maker in 1986. His work has been displayed at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C. and their decoys have been purchased and sold at many Ducks Unlimited functions across the United States. This pair of Pintail decoys is a wonderful display of the craftsmanship by Vincenti. The condition of this pair of duck decoys is well preserved with very minor wear to the paint jobs of the decoys but otherwise shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of these decoys is 8 1/4" x 18" x 5 1/2" and 7" x 17" x 5 1/4". The collective weight of this pair of decoys is 4lb.
