Featured in this lot is this Tombstone, A.T. constable Appointment Request for Frank Night circa 1879; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. The document features a wonderfully and professionally crafted hand written construction that authenticates an order for the swearing in of Frank Night as a constable of Tombstone, Pima County, A.T. The document comes complete with an original museum tag that reads as follows: Early Request to the Tombstone Board of Supervisors to appoint Frank Night as Constable Nov. 1, 1879. The condition of this Tombstone Appointment Request is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage with some slight browning to the page consistent with the age of the document but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of this document is 12 1/2" x 8". TTD169
