For your consideration is this authentic, original Cairns & Bros Co., Thomaston, Georgia Fire badge, circa 1950's. The badge is an authentic Fire badge from the 1950's showing a shield with an eagle perched on a scroll and a fireman's hat centered in an arrangement of a fire-ladder, an axe, a fire-hook, and an old school siren. On the back of the badge is the Cairns & Bros - New York hallmark. The condition of this badge is good, with no obvious signs of damage and a slight patina on the left wing of the eagle. The measurements of this badge are 2 1/4" x 1 3/4". Provenance: From the famed ex-collection of Western History, Jim Aplan.
