For your consideration is this Calf Creek thebes cluster point aged from 5,400 - 4,500 B.P. and from the Middle Archaic period. This is a large, triangular basal notch point with a thin, flattened cross section. The blade is excurvate and slightly serrated. The shoulders show long, drooping barbs that extend to the base of the point and are square. The material the point is constructed from is a cream and salmon pink chert material. The condition of this point is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this point are 3 3/4" x 2 1/2" x 1/4".
