Featured in this lot is this Elko Side Notch point from Caradoc, Ontario, circa 3,500-1,400 B.P. and aged from The Late to Transitional Archaic Periods. The point features a medium triangular side notched point design with weak shoulders and a flared base; the blade is finely serrated and shows the tip broken off. The point was napped from a grey to light grey flint material. The condition of this point is poor, with the tip shown broken off; other features show sound condition aside from the tip break. The measurements of this point are 2 1/4" x 1 1/4". The point was ploughed from Caradoc Parish, Ontario.
