Included in this lot we have a Craol Griggs watercolor painting print titled "Travois". Carol Griggs is a self taught Cherokee painter living in southern Oregon and is known for her paintings horses and Native American women primarily in watercolor. This print depicts a mother and child on horseback pulling a sled behind them with a second pack horse next to the sled. The painting shows a wonderful watercolor painting style with colors of red, blue, black, grey, tan, and purple with all the colors blending a little. The print is set into a light colored wood frame with a off-white perimeter around the artwork. The piece shows good condition overall with some light wear on the frame. The frame measures 23 3/4" wide by 20" tall with the art measuring 15 1/2" wide by 10 3/4" tall.
