For your consideration is this kinetic steel sculpture by American artist Charles Ringer, born in Minnesota in 1948. Ringer attended the University of Colorado from 1966-1968 and then left to pursue a career in art. This playful, kinetic, steel sculpture depicts a Native American hunting a heard of buffalo with a large spear as he rides bareback on his horse. The pieces are free moving and spin when pushed. The metal base reads, "Charles Ringer". The sculpture is set on a large, unmarked piece of polished and stained wood slab. The sculpture shows good condition overall with only slight wear to the spinning pieces from rubbing against each other. No signs of obvious damage is noted. The piece measures 28" L x 10 3/4" W x 14" H and weighs 27 pounds and 8 ounces.
