Featured in this lot is a Carol Grigg Signed Original Framed Print of Five Native Americans With Horses, from the Gango Gallery of Portland. Best known for her impressionistic watercolour paintings of Native American women riding or leading their horse, her paintings hang in galleries and private homes throughout the world. Carol Grigg grew up and still lives in Oregon. She draws inspiration from her Cherokee Indian heritage, her heritage being handed down from her father and grandmother, "The First Peoples, First Nations of The New World hold the treasures of knowledge experienced through living intimately with this land and the animals long before us." She works in multiple media: watercolor, oil, inks, lithography, collage, clay, music, and poetry. This piece is masterful, the images evoking her signature Native American rider and horse, which symbolize Mother Earth.
The painting is in exquisite condition, no marring noted to either painting or frame. Copper coloured metal frame measures 19.5"W x 58.75"L, visible art 19"W x 57.75"L
