Featured in this lot is this bronze called "Buffalo Skull,' originally by Frederic Remington and later constructed by ASB Foundry. Frederic Remington is considered one of the most prolific and important Western artists of the 19th century. His works are immensely valuable, and his style is highly sought after. The bronze features a Native American man holding a buffalo skull up to the sky and shows another skull by his feet. The bronze is marked uniquely with the ASB Foundry mark next to a copyright symbol. The bronze is marked 1900 inspired by Fredric Remington. The condition of this of this bronze is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The bronze is shown without the marble base. The measurements of this bronze are 25" x 10 3/4" x 10".
