For your consideration is this beautiful acrylic on canvas painting done by Cheyenne Native American artist Lynross Bixby circa 1990s. Lynross Bixby was born of Northern Cheyenne heritage in the Crow Agency, Montana in 1955. This is a wonderful painting showing the silhouettes of a Native American and a buffalo inside a cloud depicted as a white buffalo. The Native American man is hunting the buffalo silhouette as the white buffalo effigy floats through the starry, night sky. The bottom right hand corner is signed by the artist in white paint reading, "Lynross Bixby". The artwork has been set in a black colored frame and sits behind glass to preserve its condition. The artwork and frame show good condition overall with slight wear present on the frame. The visible art measures 15 1/2" L x 19 1/2" W, while the entire piece measures 18 5/16" L x 22 5/16" W x 3/4" D. It weighs 5 pounds.
