For your consideration is this Chinese guan ware doucai crackled vase from the mid 1900s. Chinese Guan ware (??, "official kiln") is a rare, highly prized stoneware originating from China's Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279), known for its thick, soft bluish-gray-green celadon glazes, often with distinct crackle patterns (crazing) that create unique aesthetic effects. This piece shows a blue and white base color with accents of red outlined floral designs. Gold gilt is also present, accenting the designs and floral designs. A crackling design can be seen throughout the entirety of the piece. No makers mark, factory mark or company mark is present on the piece. It shows good condition overall with little to no wear present and no signs of damage is noted. It measures 7" L x 7" W x 12 5/8" H and weighs 4 pounds and 2 ounces.
