This is a circa 1890 Blackfoot trade tacked leather knife sheath and old trade knife. The sheath is comprised of old harness saddle leather with a dark brown dye and shows some minor wear and fading. Along the front in typical Blackfoot / Blackfeet tacked sheath pattern shows brass trade tacks in a banded pattern. The trade knife shows a classic old clip point trade knife with solid wood two piece coffin style handle secured with copper rivets and adorned with brass trade tacks being 13 inches long.
