For your consideration is this Native American Crow hair roach. The piece is crafted from porcupine hair and has the tips dyed with yellow ocher mineral pigment paint. The center structure is woven with all white trade yarn. These headdresses would have been worn across the top of the warriors head for battle or a special ceremony. This example displays very well and shows good overall condition. The roach measures 24" L x 3 1/8" W.
