Featured in this lot is a Civil War dragoon heavy cavalry saber, circa 1860s. The saber features a wonderfully and professionally crafted stainless steel blade with a brass basket and a leather wrapped handle and a belt connecting leather carrier. The blade is marked 'US' and 'ZCC'. The condition of this U.S. Saber is good with heavy patina adorning both the blade and the sheath with a bit of brown coloration, but otherwise the saber shows good overall condition. The measurements of this are 42 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 4".*
