For your consideration is this pair of Civil War Era military boots c. 1860's. The boots show a flat top design with square sole nails and leather pulls. These boots came in a trunk with clothes and papers belonging to a Leonden G Groiver. The paper work consisted of letters and official documents related to his service with Co. G 30th Maine Volunteer Infantry Regiment. The condition of these boots are is good considering their age and the road they travelled; showing wear consistent with their age service. The measurements of this pair of boots are 14 1/4" x 11" x 4 1/4".
