For your consideration is this 1983 original oil painting Herrin Ranch looking east towards the hogback by Montana artist Robert F. Morgan. This oil painting shows a scenic view of a valley at the foot of hogback hill country. The artist signature can be seen in the bottom right hand corner. Robert F. Morgan was born in Helena, Montana in 1929 and is a realistic painter of a "Montana that is gone" and of wildlife. ... I returned to the Montana Historical Society in 1960 as curator and for one year was acting director. The condition of this painting is good with a few marks on the outside of the frame but no visible damage to the art. The measurements of this framed oil painting are 16 3/4" x 19 3/4" and the visible art measures 10 1/2" x 13 1/2".
