Featured in this lot we have a civil war Rodgers, Spencer & Co. Pettengill patent Army model double action percussion cap revolver chambered in .44 caliber. The pistol features a 7 1/2" long octagonal barrel, six shot cylinder, walnut grips, trigger guard, and blue'd finish. The revolver was used as a cavalry pistol from around the civil war. The piece shows a unique design with integrated internal hammer system and double action trigger. The exterior shows good condition overall with a some parts replaced, restored blue'd finish, and some light pitting across the exterior. The pistols shows non to intermittent functioning mechanics. No Serial Number. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
