Featured in this lot we have a CMC Duckfoot percussion cap 3 barrel pistol chambered in .36 caliber and originating from the 1970's. The pistol was manufactured in the 1970's by CMC with machined steel barrels and block, with brass frame. The pistol shows three 3" long round barrels, brass frame, percussion cap hammer system, hardwood grips, and spur trigger. These unusual multi-barrel pistols were designed to fire all three barrels simultaneously. The barrels are affixed to the breech in such a manner that the center barrel is pointed directly ahead while the left and right barrels are aligned slightly to each side. This type of pistol was used to keep more than one threat at bay! It could be loaded with a single round ball in each barrel, shot in each chamber, shot and ball or any combination. The pistol is marked across the bottom of the frame reading "CMC 36520 A PAT PEND". The pistol shows good mechanical function with working hammer and tight trigger. The piece shows little to no wear across the exterior. Serial Number: 36520. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
