For your consideration are four, Cochiti Pueblo human effigy pottery figurines done by Cochiti Pueblo artist Marie Suina (1964-2010) in New Mexico in the late 20th century. Marie Suina's artwork is shown in numerous major institutions and collections and has won numerous prizes. The pieces in this lot show four human effigy pieces, with two made to lay on their stomachs and two made to sit. They have happy expressions on their face and show different actions in their positions. They show colors of light brown, tan / beige, and black. They show good condition overall with little to no wear present and no signs of damage noted. The ones laying down measure 2 7/8" L x 2" W x 1 5/8" H, while the ones sitting measure 1 7/8" L x 1 3/8" W x 2 1/4" H. They have a collective weight of 7 ounces.
