Featured in this lot is this exotic vinyl, clay, and copper discoidal trade necklaces. The necklace feature a wonderfully and professionally crafted vinyl, clay, and copper construction. The first two feature reclaimed vinyl from vinyl records and converted into discoidal beads strung on cloth string seen in certain African trade culture. The next necklace is attributed to Trade Post Era Native American construction with rings of copper strung on twine and most likely used as a trade piece for food or supplies. The last necklace is a primitive slay beaded trade necklace of unknown age however is attributed to the Ivory Coast, Africa. The condition of this collection of necklaces is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows a well preserved overall condition. The flat measurements of this collection of necklace ranges from 8 3/8" in length to 14 1/4" in length. The collective weight of this collection of necklaces is 85.2g.
