For your consideration is this collection of brass security badges, circa early - mid 1900's. There are three brass badges in this collection, with the first two showing security officer’s hat badges, circa early 1900's. These two badges show an eagle perched over a shield, with a rising sun and a star centered on the shield. The third badge shows brass construction with an eagle perched on a large shield and a star centered on the shield. The condition of these badges is good, with no obvious signs of damage and patina and wear consistent with the age of the hat badges. Provenance: From the famed ex-collection of Western History, Jim Aplan. The measurements of these security badges range from 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" to 3" x 2 1/4".
