For your consideration is this unused ‘Department of Defense Special police’ badge. This is a modern badge without an inscription or badge number associated it. The badge shows a shield with “Special Police - Department of Defense” embossed on the surface and an eagle perched on top. The condition of this badge is good, with no obvious signs of damage. Provenance: From the famed ex-collection of Western History, Jim Aplan. The measurements of this Special Police badge are 2 1/2" x 1 3/4".
