Featured in this lot we have a collection of four vintage smoking pipes. The collection consists of four pipes; a imported Briar Wood, a Missouri Meerschaum, and two unmarked. The Briar shows wood construction with the bowl made in the image of a American buffalo's face and head. Its marked across the side reading "Selected Import Briar". The Missouri Meerschaum shows a wood bowl made in the likeness of a corn cob pipe. The bottom of the pipe shows a sticker reading "Missouri Meerschaum - Made in U.S.A. - Missouri Meerschaum Co. - Washington, MO". The first of the unmarked pipes is made in the likeness of the head and neck of a elk with the bowl sitting between the antlers. The final pipe shows a simple tall unadorned bowl made of a light colored wood. The collection shows good condition overall with the buffalo pipe showing some cracks. The briar measures 5 3/4" long with a 1 1/2" tall bowl, the Missouri measures 5 3/4" long with a 1 3/4" tall bowl, the elk pipe measures 7" long with a 1 3/4" tall bowl, and the final pipe measures 5 1/2" long with a 2 1/4" tall bowl.
