Featured in this lot is a collection of three early model rifle bayonets originating from the 1800's. The collection consists of a M1835 triangular bayonet and two M1891 point tip socket bayonet. The bayonets are designed to fit over the front barrel of the rifle; the M1891 is designed for the Mosin-Nagant rifle. The bayonets show fair condition, with warm patinas and some rust and pitting across the blades. The bayonets measure 23 1/2" long.
