For your consideration is this collection of original Skookum dolls, circa 1930's. There are three dolls in this collection. The first doll is the smallest and shows cellulose construction with a Trade blanket adorning the figure. The second shows a much larger wooden construction with a papoose; the information shows it was made by Mary Francis and it is believed to have been sold to Teddy Roosevelt in 1910. The last doll is a handled papoose with a Skookum child in it. The condition of these Skookum dolls is good, with wear consistent with their age. The measurements of these Skookum dolls range from 5" x 1 3/4" x 1 1/2" to 11 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 2 1/2".
