This is an excellent, fully front beaded flat bag from the Montana Crow Native American Indians of the mid 1900's. The piece shows an Indian tanned hide construction with a trade cloth floral inner lining, which overall is completely covered on the front with tight fine beadwork, along with leather handles. The beadwork shows all glass trade seed beads in a floral pattern with a blue semi translucent background. The face of the bag displays a wonderful pink rose floral design with glass seed trade beads in pink, gold, green, and semi translucent yellow and pink. The beadwork was executed exceptionally and is in very good condition. The edge of the bag displays a pink and blue border and the back of the bag shows the bare Indian tanned hide. The bag is in good condition overall, and measures 11 1/4" tall by 9 1/4" wide.
