Featured in this lot are five, big game hunting and hunting party photos from Colorado in the Late 19th / Early 20th century. The first and smallest photo shows a group setting up camp as they pull supplies from their wagon and a few sit around on the ground and eat. Horse harnesses can be seen scattered around, a tent sits in the background and a horse stands to the right side. The back is marked reading, "N.W. Colorado". The second photo shows an after hunt photo of four men standing around their wagon and horses in front of a house. Three hold their rifles and one holds the reins of the horses on the right hand side. On the wagon sits supplies and a deer that was taken in the hunt. The third photo shows a group of people sitting on an early car as they smile towards the photographer. Eight people are present in the photo with five sitting on the side of the car, one sitting on the ground and two sitting in the car. The fourth photo was taken in Rifle, Colorado and shows a very good looking bobcat standing in a tree as it looks at the photographer. The back is marked reading, "1903 Rifle Colorado". The fifth and final photo shows a man sitting next to his freshly taken deer has he sits his rifle in his lap. The back of the photo is marked reading, "Father 1909". It is set on a board backing. The photos measure from 4 1/2" L x 2 3/4" W to 5" L x 7" W (photo) 7 1/2" L x 9 3/8" (entire). They have a collective weight of under 6 ounces.
