Featured in this lot we have a Colt Model 1892 New Army double action revolver chambered in 38 caliber. This revolver was manufactured by Colt in 1905. The pistol displays a 6" long round barrel, six shot cylinder, hard rubber grips, and hand ejector. The barrel is marked across the left side reading "COLT. D.A. 38" with the top reading "COLT'S PT F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A. PATENTED AUG. 5. 1884 NOV. 6. 88. MAR. 5. 95.". Mechanically the revolver shows a tight action and crisp trigger with functioning double and single action. It shows good condition overall with wear across the blue'd finish and some light pitting due to handling and use. The cylinder shows a slow or heavy open to reload with the release, cylinder arm, and interior frame marked 129. The pistol weighs 2lbs. Serial Number: 252039. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic firearm, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
