Featured in this lot we have a Smith & Wesson First Model 1896 hand ejector revolver chambered in .32 caliber. The revolver displays 4" long solid rib barrel, six shot cylinder, rubber grips, double action trigger system, and nickel finish. The fluted cylinder is marked across the exterior reading "SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS. U.S.A. PATENTED JULY 1. 84. APRIL 9. 89. MARCH 27. 94. MAY 29. 94. MAY 21. 95. JULY 16. 95." The cylinder is removed by pulling on the hand ejector pin on then pushing on it to extend the ejector. The pistol shows good mechanical condition overall with a crisp double action trigger and good timing for the cylinder rotation, with the ejector showing some sticking. The grips display checkered designs with a SW design at the top of the grips. The revolver shows good condition overall with minor wear across the exterior due to use and age.
